The University of the Aftermarket Foundation is accepting applications for automotive scholarships.
The university has scholarship offers ranging from $1,000 – $10,000 in multiple categories. Over 100 scholarships are available for students enrolled in four-year and two-year programs as well as people enrolled in ASE/NATEF certified automotive and collision and heavy duty post-secondary schools.
The AIA offers a scholarship for Canadians through the university. Selected candidates will get $1,000 with a focus on giving the award to those pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket. Plus, past recipients who have been employed for at least six months can apply for a matching grant of $1,000.
Applications for the AIA scholarship are accepted until June 15.
On the Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship website, perspective students can find links that outline each scholarship and its details that are required to apply.
”Every completed scholarship application is reviewed by all the organizations where the candidate meets the qualifications. Last year more than 50 students received multiple awards from one application,” said Pete Kornafel, MAAP, chairman of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation scholarship committee. “We are pleased to be able to offer so many scholarship opportunities for the 2018-19 school year and encourage interested students to apply today.”
Students can complete the application at www.automotivescholarships.com. The application deadline for all other scholarships is March 31.
