The more things change?

Take a look back at the quaint old days of the last century when the automotive repair industry was in its infancy and itching to grow up.

Special thanks to Vinnie Klimkosz of Vinnie’s Mr. Fixit in Guelph, Ont., who came across a stack of old magazines. He asked if we’d like to go through them… and we did!  Turns out some of them are precursors to this very magazine, published by companies we’ve purchased over the years.

We’ll be featuring themed walks down memory lane on the back page of CARS magazine all this year. In the May issue, our first hike to look at the budding Information Systems that have changed the way we do business.  We’ve certainly come a long way from the days of the humble cash register.
