The Young Executive Society tried something new for members of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada.
The group hosted its first Holiday Networking Reception near the Entertainment District in downtown Toronto. About 50 people came out for drinks and food at The Citizen Restaurant & Bar on King St. West to meet with colleagues and even get a free headshot to update LinkedIn profiles.
While it was the first time the YES committee hosted such an event, similar types of receptions may be added to the calendar next year in addition to the annual YES Conference.
The event also raised $430 in a 50/50 draw with $215 going to the High Fives for Kids Foundation.
