Wagner ThermoQuiet Brake Pads Now Available for Millions of Additional Late-Model Foreign Nameplate and Domestic Vehicles

Federal-Mogul’s award-winning Wagner ThermoQuiet brake pads are now available for millions of additional foreign nameplate and domestic vehicles, including the 2010 Toyota 4Runner and Cadillac SRX, and the 2011 Ford Explorer, Transit Connect and Mazda 2.

Industry leading ThermoQuiet pads help automotive service providers eliminate brake comebacks by delivering quieter performance, superior stopping power and longer pad life.

“Wagner ThermoQuiet technology is an excellent choice for virtually any foreign nameplate or domestic passenger vehicle,” said Ken Selinger, director, North American friction, Federal-Mogul. “We are aggressively expanding this important technology to cover applications through the 2011 model year so ThermoQuiet parts and service providers can be the first choice for brake replacements on these vehicles.”

The following new Wagner ThermoQuiet pad sets are now available through Wagner distributors across the U.S. and Canada:

QC606 2010 Toyota 4Runner (Rear)

QC1295B 2010 Kia Rondo (Ceramic, Rear)

QC970 2011 Ford Transit Connect (Ceramic, Front)

QC1337A 2010 Cadillac SRX (Ceramic, Rear)

QC1454A 2011 Mazda 2 (Ceramic, Front)

QC1508 2011 Ford Explorer (Ceramic, Front)

Wagner ThermoQuiet brake pads feature highly advanced, proprietary ceramic and semi-metallic friction formulations developed by original equipment and aftermarket engineers within Federal-Mogul’s global network of advanced technology centers. ThermoQuiet pads also incorporate the company’s proprietary Integrally Molded Insulator (IMI) one-piece pad design and unique Wagner EDGE Laser-Shaped Friction technology, which help provide superior stopping performance. ThermoQuiet technology was the first replacement brake pad design to receive the prestigious Automotive News PACE Award for product innovation.
