Total Lubricants Signs Agreement with Canusa Automotive in Ontario

Total Lubricants Canada has signed a five-year distribution agreement with Canusa Automotive Warehousing, a Uni-Select member based in Dorchester, Ont.

The deal will see Canusa distribute Total brand lubricants and coolants in the Ontario automotive market. Canusa operates two distribution centres, one in Dorchester and one in Mississauga, which serve a network of more than 30 APC Auto Parts Centres corporate and associate stores serving the independent service and repair industry.

Total has also signed an additional sponsorship agreement with Canusa that will involve the Canusa Motorsports team competing at various tracks in Ontario and the northern U.S. under the Total colours.

Total Lubricants Canada was created in December 2008 following the purchase of Tribospec shares by the Total Group. TLC produces and distributes a complete line of automotive and industrial lubricants, coolants, rust proofing and bio lubricants, as well as carrying new generation synthetic lubricants including low sap and fuel economy products meeting OEM specifications. Total Lubricants Canada possesses a blending facility in Montreal constructed in 2000 with a blending capacity of over 35,000,000 litres.
