Niagara Regional Police area asking for assistance from all Niagara, Halton, and Hamilton collision repair shops to locate a vehicle responsible for a serious pedestrian hit and run collision that occurred in Port Dalhousie, Ont., during the morning hours of Monday, May 24th 2010.
According to witness reports, the suspect auto responsible for this incident may be a Porsche Cayenne SUV, but it remains unconfirmed.
At this time, information and evidence at the scene would support that a silver/grey SUV is responsible for this incident. It is believed that the suspect vehicle may have the following damage but not limited to this damage:
1- Broken front head light unit suspected to be on the passenger side
2- Possible front end damage suspected, hood or front fender damage (could be minor in nature)
