Nucap Runs With the Bulls, Acquires Stake in Pamplona, Spain Company

Brake backing plate supplier Nucap Industries of Toronto, Ont., has purchased a major stake in ADI Metalparts, a backing plate manufacturer in Pamplona, Spain.
Nucap and Berkelium of Pamplona, Spain announced the signing an agreement for Nucap’s acquisition.
The soon-to-be-renamed company will direct Nucap’s operational and sales activities in Europe and the Mediterranean Basin, and will retain Eduardo Unzu as general manager.
Nucap Europe S.A. is seen as a major part of Nucap’s global product/global reach strategies, providing Nucap with existing business relationships and viable logistics via ADI’s operations and customer network.
Berkelium, owner of Icer Brakes S.A. and other companies, is a European leader in supplying efficient braking friction material solutions for the motor vehicle and railway industries.
