Honda Canada Donates Car to Make-A-Wish Canada

Thousands of hockey fans who filled BC Place at the 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic were on-hand to watch a post-game ceremony at centre-ice where Honda Canada, the Official Vehicle of the NHL donated a brand new 2014 Honda CR-V. On behalf of the Ottawa Senators, the car was donated to Make-A-Wish Canada’s Eastern Ontario Chapter.

Honda Canada aims to support its long-time partner Make-A-Wish Canada and its dedicated team in its efforts to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. The donation of the Honda CR-V will assist Make-A-Wish Eastern Ontario by providing better support for its daily activities and will have a significant presence at local events and wish family visits as well as community and corporate outreach initiatives.

Make-A-Wish Canada is a dynamic wish-granting organization that brings hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Along with the national office, eight regional chapters grant magical wishes to children in need from coast to coast. Make-A-Wish Canada is an affiliate of Make-A-Wish® International. Make-A-Wish is the largest wish-granting organization in the world, making dreams and wishes come true for more than 324,000 children since 1980. For more information, please visit www.makeawish.ca.
