Help Your Industry, Help Yourself: 2010 Canadian Shop Performance Survey

Understanding how Canadian automotive service businesses are doing is extremely important to the aftermarket in Canada, and the Automotive Industries Association of Canada’s 2010 Canadian Shop Performance Survey is designed to find out exactly that.
The survey is designed to provide some industry benchmarks for shops in key areas, such as door rates and repair orders.
However, to get statistically accurate benchmarks we need more than 588 completed surveys; and to achieve that goal the association is asking for help from shops, jobbers, warehouse distributors and others in the industry.
The association is asking shops to fill out the survey, and others to forward the survey and encourage everyone to complete it.
The association estimates that it will take around 10 to 15 minutes to complete the survey.
Please know that all survey submissions will be treated with the strictest confidence and only aggregate results will be released.
The survey can be filled out online at the links below, or a copy can be printed out, and faxed to the AIA in Ottawa once completed. Contact information is at the end of the survey. I
While the survey is being distributed now, the association is asking questions to be answered within the context of calendar 2009.
