Groupe Touchette grows again in east

Groupe Touchette has announced the opening of its 30th tire distribution centre in the Atlantic Region, opening up shop in Halifax this time.

This new distribution centre, Groupe said in a press release, will serve the Atlantic car dealers and independent retailers.

“We have one objective in mind and it is to offer our customers the best possible service. This addition to the Atlantic region is part of our development plan and adds great value to our national coverage,” said Nicolas Touchette, chief executive officer at Groupe Touchette. “For the 100 largest cities in Canada, Groupe Touchette assures tire delivery in 3 hours or less, 90 per cent of the time. This promise is part of the company’s foundation and in an ongoing effort to improve customer service and product accessibility, Groupe Touchette strives to improve access to its products and logistical services.”

“This distribution centre will enable us to provide better service, better access to products and a faster delivery capacity,” said Philippe Robichaud, supervisor for the new Halifax distribution centre.
