Goodyear has announced the new Endurance trailer tire at its Customer Conference in Orlando, recently.
According to an announcement from the company, the tire was developed after hearing may calls for a product like this.
“For years, hobbyists who tow boats, jet skis and snowmobiles to recreational destinations have asked for an American-manufactured trailer tire to help carry their cargo with confidence. Millions of workers who haul equipment from job to job have echoed that desire.”
The tire, the company said, has Goodyear Durawall technology, which it says “helps resist sidewall cuts and punctures” and is “capable of transporting” heavy cargo.
It is available in load ranges D and E to accommodate larger trailer load capacities. The line has an N speed rating, making it suitable for highway travel.
The announcement noted the following features:
Goodyear also noted a special trailer size of ST 255/85R16. The company says it “is the only tire on the market available in that size.”
Goodyear touted the made-in-America aspect of the tire
“Goodyear is proud and excited to introduce the Endurance, the only radial special trailer tire built in the United States,” said Ryan Patterson, president of Goodyear’s North American consumer tire business.
