Golfer wins the tournament that honours his fathers memory

The 2011 Rick Gibson Memorial Golf Tournament was won by Rick’s son, Brent Gibson, and his friends.

The tournament, organized annually by the Northern Alberta division of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA), was held Sept 8 at Raven Crest Golf & Country club in Edmonton.

It is a fundraiser for the Rick Gibson Scholarship for automotive technician apprentices at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
