Delphi Brings OE O2 Sensors To Independent Aftermarket

Delphi Corp. announced the expansion of its original equipment (OE) oxygen sensor line for the independent aftermarket.
Delphi, a leading manufacturer of original equipment oxygen (O2) sensors for the automotive industry, brings the same quality parts to their customers in the independent aftermarket.
The all makes line-up features many of the most popular domestic and European original equipment applications in the market today.
"We have expanded our coverage to include many popular European applications," said Lucia Moretti, global marketing director, Delphi Products & Service Solutions. "With this product line expansion, we now offer coverage for 95 percent of the North American vehicle parc."
Delphi, with more than 25 years of original equipment experience in O2 sensors, is at the forefront of oxygen sensor technology with products such as planar sensors. Planar sensors are made with planar elements as opposed to the traditional conical elements, reducing activation time from 20 seconds to less than 5 seconds.
Delphi-produced O2 sensors are made on the same line as the original equipment parts, offering the same quality fit and function as the original equipment. These sensors also have a dry anti-seize compound evenly applied to the parts, which reduces the risk of element contamination.
