CARFAX Canada launches inventory sourcing tool for automotive dealers

CARFAX Canada has released a new software platform called CARFAX Canada Sourcing to help automotive dealerships buy pre-owned vehicles more efficiently.

The tool aims to help dealers manage tight used-vehicle inventory by giving staff a faster way to review vehicle identification numbers (VINs) across wholesale auctions, trade-ins, and service lane buybacks. Using historical vehicle data and market analytics, the software lets dealers filter vehicles by expected profit and how quickly they are likely to sell.

CARFAX Canada president Shawn Vording said automated vehicle analysis helps store managers spot high-margin inventory faster without spending hours reviewing listings one by one.
