Worlds Largest Refrigerated Truck…

Worlds Largest Refrigerated Truck Company Signs LNG Agreement With Shell

World’s largest refrigerated trucking company continues integration of natural gas trucks into its fleet by signing sizeable LNG fueling agreement with Shell.

Zach England, chief operating officer of C. R. England, has announced a multi-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) bulk fueling agreement to be supplied by Shell.  C.R. England will replace existing diesel trucks with LNG powered trucks utilizing the new 12 liter spark-ignited ISX engine.  These trucks will service southern California, the most mature market for natural gas on-highway transportation in the United States.

“C.R. England continually strives to find and implement greener transportation options,” England said.  “We believe natural gas is the best alternative fuel to diesel currently available for long-haul Class 8 trucks.  In addition to reducing emissions, we believe there is the potential to reduce fuel costs and operate trucks that run quieter than those using diesel. We are incredibly excited to incorporate LNG tractors into our fleet and see great potential for future expansion.”

C.R. England is one of North America’s largest transportation providers and this fueling agreement continues their integration of LNG powered trucks into their fleet
