Bestbuy Distributors Elects New Board

The Bestbuy Distributors buying group elected its 2012 board of directors at its recent annual general meeting.

Shareholders from across Canada elected the 2012 board of directors.

Bestbuys returning chairman, Dale Devlin of Halton Automotive, and returning directors were present, including: vice-chairman Doug Squires, Colonial Auto Parts & A.P.M. Limited; secretary/treasurer Don Harvey,

Central Transport Refrigeration; Claudio Sceppacerqua, The Young Automotive Professionals; Brad Nahorney, (IDL) Sapphire Auto; Ghazi Mankal, Canadian Auto Parts Suppliers and Gino Morelli, Pièces dauto G.C.M.

One new director was confirmed: Scott Manz of Den-Paul Distributors.

A highlight of the AGM was the annual dinner, which included the internationally acclaimed cover

band Hotel California performing the Eagles greatest hit songs. There was a large turnout of 238 for

the Friday evening cocktails and dinner. The weekend also featured the AGM trade show at

Bestbuys head office and warehouse. Eighty vendors were on site ready to discuss new business

developments with shareholders.
