Schumacher Electric names new CEO

Schumacher Electric Corporation announced that Joseph Rainone is its new chief executive officer.

The move was effective July 14, 2026.

Rainone has more than three decades of executive leadership experience across consumer products, manufacturing, retail and e-commerce. According to the announcement, He has led organizations through periods of transformation and growth, building high-performing teams, strengthening market-leading brands and delivering strong financial and operational results across both Fortune 500 and private equity-backed enterprises.

Rainone was most recently the CEO of Ubique Group, an e-commerce furniture company where he was responsible for guiding the company through tariffs, pandemic-related disruptions, and supply chain volatility while delivering sustained double-digit growth and scaling the business. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Melissa & Doug, Bayer, and Hasbro, driving business growth, operational excellence, and market expansion for some of the world’s most recognized consumer brands.
