California-based trainer Mike Cleary to present new, expanded material on 6.7L Powerstroke.
Technical trainer Mike Cleary will hold a new Technical Training Event in Calgary April 28 through 30.
Cleary, an award-winning Ford certified senior master technician and Powerstroke engine specialist, will present four separate classes.
“Ford Powerstroke Diesel: Fact or Fiction?” will address the many misconceptions about the systems operations and diagnostics procedures and specifications on the various Ford Powerstroke Diesel Electronic Engine Control Systems produced to date: 7.3L, 6.0L, 6.4L, and 6.7L. This interactive class will both inform and dispel the more commonly held “myths” regarding these engine systems.
“Expert Electrical: A Unique Approach to Electrical Diagnosis” is billed as an atypical electrical class, with special emphasis on what it takes to become proficient at electrical diagnostics. Notably, it is not diesel specific.
“Ford 6.4L Powerstroke Diagnosis” has been fully revised and updated for 2017.
“Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Diagnosis” has never been presented in Calgary before. The one presented in 2014 was a four-hour maintenance and overview class. This one is an all-day diagnostics and repair class, including all 2016 and 2017 model year updates and revisions.
Cleary was a founding board member of Ford Motor Company’s Professional Technician Society, an organization dedicated to serving the needs of Ford dealership technicians in the United States and Canada.
