The Moran Family of Brands has announced a leadership realignment, with Mister Transmission head Tony Kuczynski tapped to lead North America franchise operations.
The move comes months after Moran acquired Canada‑based Mister Transmission, bringing the two organizations under a single North American operating structure within the U.S.-based franchisor’s umbrella.
At the time, Moran said the transaction was aimed at expanding its footprint in Canada while leveraging Mister Transmission’s strong brand equity and operational expertise.
As part of the new structure, Kuczynski will oversee franchise support across all of Moran’s locations in the U.S. and Canada. He will focus on aligning franchise support functions across both countries, including marketing, training, technical support and store operations, while standardizing processes and driving performance throughout the network.
Kuczynski previously served as president and CEO of Mister Transmission.
“Being appointed to this new leadership role is an honour and a responsibility I take seriously,” Kuczynski said. “We are bringing together two strong organizations and working as one team with one direction. Our focus is on supporting franchisees, improving how we operate across both countries, and ensuring we deliver consistent value to customers and stores on both sides of the border.”
Moran said the alignment is built around three operational pillars: Finance and administration, franchise support and growth and development. Chief executive officer Barbara Moran‑Goodrich will continue to lead the company with a focus on finance and administration. Kuczynski will lead franchise support, while former president Peter Baldine has transitioned to chief growth officer to head growth and development initiatives.
“This alignment allows us to maximize the strengths of both organizations and deliver greater value to our franchisees across the U.S. and Canada,” Moran‑Goodrich said. “By combining our resources, expertise, and leadership into one team with a united vision, we are building a stronger platform designed for long‑term growth and success.”
The company also announced two leadership promotions effective April 6. Brian Schroeder, previously vice‑president of operations for Mister Transmission, has been named chief operating officer. Tim Rodifer, formerly Moran’s technical director, has been promoted to senior vice‑president of operations, technical support and vendor management.
Both are former franchisees with more than 60 years of combined experience in franchise operations, technical services and business management.
Moran said the changes are intended to support deeper integration following the Mister Transmission acquisition and to reinforce investment in franchisees as the automotive aftermarket continues to expand.
