Tenneco has released four new Monroe suspension conversion kit part numbers that can be applied to more sport utility vehicles.
The kits allow technicians to convert worn air spring, hydraulic self-levelling, and electronic suspensions to conventional mechanical suspensions without having to activate the vehicles’ electronic warning signals.
The new suspension kit includes, part number 90021 for 2003-2009 Hummer H2 (rear, air-ride to coil spring), number 90022 for 2003-2009 Lexus GX470 and Toyota 4Runner (rear, air-ride to coil spring), and numbers 90023-1 (rear) and 90023-2 (air-ride to coil spring, left and right) for 2007-2013 Ford Expedition & Lincoln Navigator.
“Monroe kits have been very popular for several years among many service providers, yet we see an opportunity to help shops grow their share of this promising category,” said Adam Richardson, senior product manager at North America Aftermarket Ride Control, Tenneco. “We will continue to invest in new coverage as well as extensive new, user-friendly installation tools and related support.”
