Mitsubishi to debut Outlander Diamond…

Mitsubishi to debut Outlander Diamond Trail Edition at SEMA

Mitsubishi Motors North America will return to the SEMA Show for the first time since 2012, using the event to debut the 2028 Outlander Diamond Trail Edition.

The new SUV features off-road-focused upgrades including all-terrain tires, revised front and rear bumpers, a new Rock drive mode for Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control system and increased approach and departure angles. Mitsubishi said the model is the most capable Outlander offered to date.

The company will display three versions of the Outlander Diamond Trail Edition at SEMA, ranging from a production model equipped with genuine accessories to heavily modified off-road builds featuring lift kits, roof racks, rooftop tents and accessory lighting.

Mitsubishi said the vehicle supports its Momentum 2030 strategy, which includes expanding the brand’s focus on adventure-oriented and off-road-capable vehicles.

“SEMA is where automotive passion, innovation and personalization come together, making it the ideal stage for the world debut of the all-new Outlander Diamond Trail Edition,” said Mark Chaffin, president and CEO, MMNA. “This vehicle represents the next step in our Momentum 2030 vision, combining Mitsubishi Motors’ off-road heritage with the capability, technology and versatility today’s customer demands.”
