Geely Auto has announced its entry into the Canadian market and is building local operations ahead of launching its first vehicles in Canada in 2027.
The company said it has established a Canadian team and is developing a retail and service network as part of its market rollout. Bryan Wu, managing director of Geely Auto Canada, said the company plans to support its launch through local partnerships and customer service infrastructure.
“Canada represents an important next step in Geely Auto’s international growth,” said Wu. “We are entering this market with a long-term commitment, bringing our global technology and engineering capabilities to Canadian drivers while building strong local partnerships and the support customers need to feel confident in choosing Geely.”
According to the company, Geely Auto Group sold more than 3 million vehicles globally in 2025, including nearly 1.69 million new-energy vehicles. The automaker said it currently sells vehicles in more than 100 countries and regions worldwide.
The company will release additional information on its Canadian vehicle lineup, dealer network, pricing and availability closer to its commercial launch.
