A cooler day couldn’t stop the automotive aftermarket from raising money for a good cause.
Mister Transmission hosted its 36th annual charity golf tournament on June 13, raising $17,000 for the Mister Transmission Charitable Fund, thanks to Mister Transmission franchisees, supply partners, friends and staff.
The fund was launched in 2018 to support children and youth in the areas of health, hardship, education and community. Since 2018, more than $115,000 has been raised, which has also gone on to help the Post-Secondary Scholarship Program. More than 35 students have received help with their education to pursue their career goals.
After 18 holes of golf, attendees sat down for lunch and to receive prizes from the raffle tickets purchased before the event started.
Mister Transmissions president and CEO Tony Kuczynski closed out the day with remarks and thanks.
