Leading Automotive Research Firm Expands to Canada

Motoresearch Inc., one of the largest custom automotive consumer research companies in the world, today announced its expansion into Canada with the launch of a new Canadian division, Motoresearch Canada.
While already active in the United States and Mexico, as well as 30 countries worldwide, the launch of Motoresearch Canada extends the presence of Motoresearch Inc. to all of North America. The new Canadian division is being launched with the participation of Market Facts of Canada and will be known officially as Market Facts Motoresearch Canada. Both Market Facts of Canada and Motoresearch Inc. are owned by Market Facts Inc., a leading international market research and information company headquartered in Arlington Heights, Ill.
Founded in 1986 and acquired by Market Facts Inc. early last year, Motoresearch Inc. conducts automotive research for more than a dozen manufacturers and Tier One suppliers throughout North and South America, Europe, and Asia. The company had revenues of $12 million (US) in 2000.
The president of Motoresearch Inc., William Saunders, said, “We are pleased to be coming to Canada.
