Unitool Inc. introduces the EQUT2600 Universal Macpherson Coil Spring Compressor

The EQUT2600 universal coil spring compressor can be used both on and off the car to safely compress coil springs using specially developed jaws that fit securely around the spring. The built-in safety lips prevent springs from slipping out. Jaws are locked onto the body with the enclosed hex screws which are mounted on the tool. A built-in shear pin prevents overloading of the tool. The jaws are forged and plastic coated to avoid damaging plastic coated coil springs. The set has 2 pairs of easy fitting standard accessories covering spring diameters 3-9/64″ to 7-7/8″. Suitable for use with a power tool, with a recommended maximum working load of 1100 kg or 2425 lb.
