PartSource acquires Drivers/Auto Village

Toronto-based parts chain PartSource has purchased the assets of Drivers/Auto Village, an automotive chain in Western Canada.

The acquisition includes nine stores located in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina and Moose Jaw. PartSource currently operates 15 stores in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.

Drivers/Auto Village will be converted to a franchisee operation, moving approximately 200 employees over to the PartSource banner.

Stores will average 7000 square feet with 15,000 in-store products, backed by a 60,000 part inventory available on a same- day basis.
