A racing harness for the street?

TRW displayed a four-point safety belt at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January. The four-point belts, displayed at the Ford Consumer Clinic, improve load distribution at the shoulder and chest, improving comfort for older occupants and children. If adopted in production, look for the harnesses to appear initially on sports and off-road models.
