Executive Change at The Automotive…

Executive Change at The Automotive Group

The Automotive Group, the leading publisher of automotive industry business publications in Canada, has announced that senior publisher Robert Lauder, has left his position at the company to pursue an ownership position at an independent publishing company.
Lauder, publisher of Jobber News Magazine and senior publisher of The Automotive Group of magazines at The Business Information Group, which also publishes Service Station and Garage Management, Bodyshop Magazine, l’automobile and Le Bodyshop and the Automotive Service Data Book–as well as operating www.autoserviceworld.com–has left the company to pursue an ownership opportunity at an independent publishing company in the sporting goods market.
He was part of The Automotive Group for 14 years, continues to have a great enthusiasm for the automotive aftermarket and auto racing and will continue to be involved with The Automotive Group in a consulting capacity.
He has always sought to be deeply involved in many aspects of the aftermarket throughout his tenure at the company including becoming the first Canadian to receive his Automotive Aftermarket Professional designation from the University of the Aftermarket and serving on a number of committees at the Automotive Industries Association of Canada.
He also has a background in sports, particularly as a competitive water skier, and looks forward to pursuing this aspect of publishing.
