Dorval Auto Parts brings big money for hospital

The 11th annual walkathon hosted by Dorval Auto Parts was another big success.

The walk, which takes place in early September, raised $72,000 this year – that brings its all-time total to $650,000 for Hope & Cope’s cancer exercise program.

Alex Trichas, co-owner at Dorval Auto Parts, and cousins Nick, Chris and Andre Dimopoulos, along with friend Gus Anagnostaras created this event to raise awareness to cancer patients and survivors and give other people the chance to be a part of the cause.

The 7 km walk for the cause takes place at Parc St-Maxime in Chomedey, Laval and is followed by BBQ foods, and raffle prizes.

The next walk takes place Sept. 8, 2019.
