The Canadian automotive aftermarket will gather in British Columbia this summer for the annual Stan Kingshott West Coast Classic Golf Tournament.
Set for Aug. 10 at the Vancouver Golf Club in Coquitlam, it’s presented by Lordco Auto Parts and Carpak Distributors. The event combines networking and community support through a long‑running charity fundraiser that draws participants from across the sector.
Over the years, proceeds from the tournament have supported local organizations, including JDRF Vancouver, Alzheimer Society of BC, BC Lung Association, Autism BC and Family Services of Greater Vancouver. The event is held in honour of Stan Kingshott, founder of Carpak.
“This tournament is more than just a day on the course, it’s a living tribute to my father’s belief in the power of our industry coming together year after year to support these vital charities,” said Brian Kingshott, president of Carpak Distributors, adding that the event’s continued success reflects the ongoing support of industry partners and sponsors.
Ian Coates, vice‑president of sales at Lordco Auto Parts, said the tournament provides an opportunity for the aftermarket community to reconnect while supporting charitable causes across the region.
“Lordco is grateful to be the presenting sponsor of the Stan Kingshott West Coast Classic golf tournament,” Coates said. “It is a great day of camaraderie and hospitality, but more importantly, we bring the automotive aftermarket community together to raise funds for a collection of deserving Greater Vancouver charities.”
Participants will play 18 holes at the Vancouver Golf Club, the oldest golf club in the Lower Mainland, while contributing to fundraising efforts tied to the event. Organizers said the tournament continues to grow as both a networking opportunity and a platform for industry‑led giving.
