Carrus Acquires Collision-Insurance Business System Provider BUS Systems

Through its subsidiary Carrus Technologies Inc., Mediagrif Interactive Technologies Inc., has finalized its acquisition of BUS Systems Inc., which was announced in August.
Mediagrif is a developer of e-business networks and provider of complete e-business solutions.
BUS offers a range of Web applications to better manage insurance claims in the automotive industry. The technological tools developed by BUS are specifically programmed for collision repair centres and allows management integration, simplified accounting and communication to bring collision repair centres and insurers together.
This acquisition will complement the suite of services offered by Carrus to its customers.
Carrus is the leading developer of state-of-the-art e-commerce software solutions for the automotive aftermarket industry. Its software electronically link warehouse distributors, auto parts jobbers, and installers to allow for the free flow of large and small orders directly through the Internet, without the use of a telephone.
