In CarGurus’s latest July data, sales rose for some of Canada’s top‑selling used vehicles and fell for others, with crossovers showing the strongest gains. Each model in the top ten had at least 1,000 sales during the month.
The Nissan Rogue had the largest increase, up 22.2 per cent from July 2025. The Toyota RAV4 was up 6.6 per cent, the GMC Sierra 1500 rose 8.8 per cent and the Mazda CX‑5 increased 7.9 per cent. The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was up 5.7 per cent. For several models, the demand decreased.
The Ford F‑150 was down 4.5 per cent, the RAM 1500 was down 7.4 per cent, the Honda CR‑V was down 3.5 per cent, the Honda Civic was down 9.2 per cent and the Hyundai Elantra was down 0.5 per cent.
CarGurus said the Rogue’s strong year‑over‑year gain stood out, especially given its age compared with newer rivals like the RAV4 and CX‑5. The company said demand remains strong for practical crossover models.
The fastest‑moving used vehicles in July included the Subaru Forester at 35.4 days, the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid at 36.6 days and the Honda CR‑V at 37.6 days. Several crossovers appeared near the top of the list, along with minivans and full‑size pickups. CarGurus said the RAV4 Hybrid had both higher sales and faster turnover, with sales up 28 per cent from last July.
CarGurus analyzed Canadian used‑vehicle sales and days‑to‑turn data from vehicles listed on its platform. Fastest‑moving models required at least 500 sales and were ranked by average days to turn.
