Autotrader’s picks for top 10 new vehicles

Autotrader has released its list of the Best New Cars of 2026, highlighting 10 recently introduced or redesigned models.

The selected vehicles include the 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ, Ford Maverick Lobo, Honda Passport, Hyundai Palisade, Lucid Gravity, Mazda CX-5, Nissan LEAF, Subaru Outback, Tesla Model Y and Toyota RAV4.

The list is based on evaluations by the company’s editorial team, which reviewed new and updated vehicles available for purchase within the next nine months.

“The experts on our Autotrader editorial team drive all of the new and redesigned vehicles every year, pooling our collective evaluations, impressions and available data to determine the Best New Cars,” said Jason Fogelson, managing editor at Autotrader.

Editors considered vehicles that are new or significantly redesigned, with base models priced below $100,000.
