Robert Bosch offers a complete line of Bosch Workshop Oil and Cabin Air Filters for the traditional installer market in the United States and Canada. It targets automotive repair shops, technicians, jobbers and warehouse distributors (WDs).
Ninety-seven Bosch Workshop Oil Filters provide 98% coverage for domestic, Asian and European vehicles in operation (VIO) in North America. At an efficiency rate of 97.5% in removing dirt and a capacity to hold 13 grams of dirt, these filters help a vehicle’s engine oil perform at its best for thousands of miles, King said. To clarify, 13 grams of dirt is the equivalent of 31 standard size paper clips.
By screening out more harmful contaminants than economy filters, the new line of Bosch Oil Filters for the installer segment provide the engine with a high level of protection against dust and dirt, thereby ensuring a continued supply of clean oil for lasting performance.
Bosch offers two types of cabin air filters – particulate filters and activated charcoal filters. The two-layered Bosch particulate filter featuring mold-resistant media includes a non-woven pre-filter layer and an electrically charged microfiber layer for maximum performance and durability. The upgraded activated charcoal filter’s four-layered design includes an electrically charged microfiber layer and adds an activated charcoal layer between two non-woven layers that retain the carbon. This upgraded design provides maximum absorption of foul-smelling gases such as ozone, nitrogen oxide, sulphur dioxide and hydrocarbons.
The lineup of Bosch Workshop Cabin Air Filters includes 130 part numbers that offer 90% coverage for all vehicles in operation (VIO) in North America.
