Volvo USA offers free towing for life

Volvo Car USA is offering free towing to all U.S. Volvo owners, regardless of the age of the car or whether the vehicle belongs to a post-warranty customer.

The “Tow for Life” program, announced at the beginning of this month, will mean that free tows to a local Volvo retailer will be covered for every Volvo owner.

“Tow for Life ensures that in the event of a breakdown, help is on hand no matter the age of the vehicle,” said Scott Doering, head of customer service for Volvo Car USA, “It’s a commitment to all our customers that cars will be taken to experts who use genuine Volvo parts and repair methods. This will get the customer back on the road faster and provide assurance that the repair was done right.”

Volvo Canada said it has no plans to follow suit with a Canadian version of tow-for-life.
