Vast Auto Opens New Distribution Centre in Halifax

Vast-Auto Distribution has announced the opening of its eighth distribution center in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The official opening date is scheduled for early January 2017.

Vast-Auto’s decision to establish this new facility in Halifax, the provincial capital of Nova Scotia and the economic hub of Atlantic Canada, supports their inventory proximity strategy with their parts store partners. “We are very excited about servicing parts stores in the Halifax Regional Municipality from this new facility and making sure they have access to the parts they need when they need them,” said John Del Vasto, president of Vast-Auto Distribution.

The addition of this facility supports Vast-Auto’s growth strategy. “We see opportunity in expanding our parts store footprint and the addition of this facility provides the stepping stone” explained Del Vasto.
