USI-AGI Prairies Management Team Named

The management team of the Acklands-Grainger/Uni-Select joint venture in Western Canada, USI-AGI Prairies Inc., has been announced.
The joint venture, formed last year, is being managed by Uni-Select and includes both Uni-Select members and Bumper-to-Bumper associates.
Sean Corcelli who has been a part of the Acklands-Grainger organization for the past 20 years, most recently as general manager of its Automotive Group, has been appointed as general manger of USI-AGI Prairies Inc. responsible for the development of the organization. Corcelli is also serving as the current chairman of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada.
Members of Corcelli’s USI-AGI team include David Chapman, who has accepted the responsibilities of operations manager and in this capacity will be responsible for all distribution aspects of USI-AGI Prairies. This division is the second largest in Uni-Select Inc. and the most complex in terms of distribution with five distribution centers.
Ken Glen will continue in a critical role of Special Projects Manager with his responsibilities currently focused on the integration of the Prairie Division. He will be to oversee and coordinate the merger of the two Edmonton Distribution Centers and the relocation of the Calgary Distribution Center. He will take on other projects to ensure the integration is realized according to plan.
The Prairie automotive aftermarket will be the benefactor of two distinct banner programs each offering its own dedicated sales and marketing team.
Gary Ritz, previously the Bumper-to-Bumper sales manager and one of its founding members, takes the title of sales & marketing manager and will lead the Bumper to Bumper sales and marketing team in the growth and expansion of the program.
Murray Hunter will continue in his role as sales & marketing manager of the Uni-Select Auto Parts Plus and Auto Plus banners. He will manage a team dedicated to the growth and expansion of these programs.
Chris Van Camp will serve as administrative manager and provides a wealth of accounting expertise.
