Uniweld Products, Inc. Releases Electronic Refrigerant Scale

Uniweld Products, Inc., a U.S. manufacturing company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has recently released its electronic refrigerant scale, making it possible to accurately weigh and transfer refrigerant to and from the A/C system. The Uniweld ChargeTron unit is a compact, battery powered portable (7.2 lbs.) workstation that has a cast aluminum 9” square platform scale built right into a high impact plastic carrying case. The scale can be programmed for two weight capacities: 110 lbs. (50 Kg) or 176 lbs. (80 Kg). At 110 lbs., accuracy is rated at ±.2 oz./10g and at 176 lbs. accuracy is rated at ± .5 oz./20g. The LCD displays pounds/ounces or kilograms/grams.

The ChargeTron is powered by a 9 volt alkaline battery with approximately 48 hours of battery life. The auto-power-off feature automatically turns the scale off after 15 minutes of inactivity. The tare weight zeros out the scale at any time. An optional charging module plugs into the scale to automatically transfer a preset amount of refrigerant.
