University of the Aftermarket to Offer Credit for SEMA Online Marketing Conference

For the second consecutive year, the University of the Aftermarket will offer continuing education units (CEUs) to attendees of the popular SEMA Online Marketing Conference, Nov. 1, 2010, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Industry professionals will be able to earn 0.8 CEUs that can be applied to their AAP (Automotive Aftermarket Professional) or MAAP (Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional) certificates.
The full-day conference will offer a comprehensive analysis of the strategies and processes aftermarket businesses need to pursue in order to master Internet marketing, regardless of budget. Presenters include several of the biggest names in today’s online marketplace – Bill Leake, CEO and founder of Apogee Results; noted business author Bryan Eisenberg; David Bayer, CEO, DataBanq; Joel Book, director of marketing, Exact Target; Lauren Dale, automotive industry marketing manager, Google; Michael Becker, North American managing director, Mobile Marketing Association; Ray Comstock Sr., search strategist, BusinessOnline; Rick Calvert, CEO and co-founder, BlogWorld and New Media Expo; Serena Satyasai, marketing manager, YouTube; and Tom Chisholm, sales director, Facebook.
“This conference is a great example of the transformational learning experiences available throughout the SEMA and AAPEX shows,” said University of the Aftermarket director Brian Cruickshank, MAAP. “eMarketing is one of the most pressing needs of today’s aftermarket organizations. We are pleased to be involved in this event and to offer CEUs to industry professionals who want to earn their AAP and MAAP certificates.”
All members of SEMA, the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) and Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) qualify for a registration discount for the event.
