Town Hall to Analyze Impact of Rising Fuel Costs on Aftermarket

Panelists will drill deep into the impact of rising fuel prices on the aftermarket, and how it is draining the financial resources of the aftermarket consumer at the AAIA Town Hall Breakfast in Las Vegas
Held during the annual AAPEX show November 5, the Town Hall Breakfast will feature a panel of industry experts who will analyze the current and future impact of rising fuel costs on the aftermarket industry.
Hosted by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and sponsored by NASCAR Performance, the Town Hall will be held Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 7 a.m. in the Palazzo Ballroom in the Venetian Hotel.
Panelists will include Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst, Oil Price Information Service, Frank Ordonez, president of aftermarket operations, Delphi Corporation, David Portalatin, director of industry analysis, The NPD Group, Inc., and Tony Zanders, president, Heritage Auto Repair and chair, Car Care Professionals Network (CCPN).
“No issue in recent memory has had such a profound impact on every segment of our industry as increased fuel costs,” said Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA president and CEO, will once again moderate the Town Hall. “Our distinguished panel will drill down into this issue from every angle: the motorist, service and repair, manufacturing, distribution and offer future scenarios and solutions for attendees to take away.”
