
The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance wrapped up its 2025 Winter Shareholder Meeting in Aventura, Florida, after four days of planning, workshops, networking and recognition.
It all culminated in the Alliance Channel Partner Awards Banquet, where East Penn Manufacturing was named Channel Partner of the Year.
Held at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa from Dec. 7-11, the meeting brought together hundreds of shareholder members, channel partners and industry leaders for committee sessions, department updates, information technology and marketing workshops and general sessions aimed at collaboration and strategy. The Alliance positioned the event as a forum to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas and maintain momentum across the aftermarket network.
“We are thrilled to close another successful year with such an energetic and engaging Alliance Winter Shareholder Meeting,” said John C. Washbish, president and CEO of the Alliance. “Our channel partners continue to demonstrate outstanding commitment and performance, helping to advance our shared goals and drive innovation across the aftermarket. This event is not only about recognizing their achievements but also about strengthening the partnerships that move our industry forward.”

Bruce Herman, vice president of sales at East Penn, said it was an honour to receive the top recognition.
“We are proud to collaborate with the Alliance and its shareholder members to support their vision and contribute to the success of the entire network,” he said. “This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of the entire East Penn team.”
Awards were presented across multiple categories. The winners included:
- Dorman received Technology Support.
- Robert Bosch Company earned Manpower.
- GDP- Global Parts Distributors took the Diamond award.
- Standard Motor Products, Inc. won Training.
- Tectran was recognized as CVHD Hauler.
- Elite Extra received Technology Partner.
- Gates earned Logistics. Valvoline took Marketing.
- Terrepower won Customer Service.
- MacPherson by FCS was named Exclusive National Brand.
- CEC Industries received Impact
- Highline-Warren earned Lonestar.

Following the formal conclusion of the Winter Meeting, the Channel Partner Advisory Council convened to review insights from the week and identify priorities for the year ahead.
“The CPAC continues to be a valuable forum for open communication and collaboration between the Alliance and industry partners,” said Colby Florea, vice president of sales at Gates. “It’s another avenue for partnership growth and for all of us to stay plugged in on everything Alliance, but also a chance to discuss overall industry goals, initiatives, and ways we can work together.”
