Supply Chain Management Program Gains…

Supply Chain Management Program Gains Ally

The Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) has joined with the University of the Aftermarket to develop and promote a new supply chain management certification program.
Aftermarket executives now can earn automotive aftermarket professional (AAP) or master AAP certification through the University of the Aftermarket.
The supply chain management program is designed for aftermarket professionals involved in sales forecasting, purchasing, procurement, transportation, logistics, warehousing, production and materials control.
The first of two seminars in the program – “Developing a Supply Chain Strategy” – is set for Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 24-25, and is hosted by Delphi Automotive Systems, Troy, Mich. Participants will learn about developing a supply chain strategy, and designing and managing the supply chain.
A second seminar, “How to Redesign Supply Chains,” is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 1-2 (location to be announced soon).
More information about the Aftermarket Supply Change Management program is available online at http://www.univaftmkt.org/courses/g528.htm, or by calling 800-551-2882.
