Steve Van Kessel named director at Ideal Supply

Ideal Supply announced that Steve Van Kessel has been appointed as its director of sales for its automotive division.

“Steve brings extensive experience in the automotive aftermarket industry, along with a proven track record of leadership, strategic thinking and building strong relationships with customers, teams and industry partners,” the company said in an announcement.

Van Kessel is the former owner of Parry Automotive in Orillia, Ontario, which won Jobber of the Year in 2020 from Jobber News. Ideal Supply acquired the business in 2021.

In this role, Ideal Supply said Van Kessel will lead development and execution of the company’s sales strategy, strengthen key relationships and drive growth across the company’s automotive segment.

Ideal Supply is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026.
