Standard Motor Products, Inc. has added coverage across several advanced internal combustion engine categories as automakers introduce new systems to improve fuel efficiency, reduce emissions and support performance.
The company has introduced more than 120 high‑pressure fuel pump SKUs in its gasoline direct injection program. New coverage includes late‑model BMW applications such as the 2024–2020 X3 and 2023–2019 X5, along with the 2020–2017 Audi A4 and the 2023–2018 Volkswagen Atlas.
Its turbocharger program now includes more than 100 all‑new, no‑core turbocharger kits for gasoline, diesel, import and domestic applications. Recent additions include complete kits for the 2021–2015 Subaru 2.0L and the 2014–2011 Ford 6.7L diesel. New turbocharger coolant lines cover the 2026–2015 Ford Transit and 2026–2021 Ford F‑150, and new oil lines support the 2020–2015 Ford 2.0L used in several Ford and Lincoln SUVs.
Standard has also added new vacuum pump applications. The company now offers nearly 100 vacuum pumps, including 12 electric units for vehicles with stop‑start technology. New coverage includes 3.2 million Jeep and RAM vehicles through 2025 and 2.5 million Ford trucks through 2026. Additional advanced ICE components include variable valve timing and cylinder deactivation solenoids.
“Evolving and expanding our product portfolio is what we have always done,” said John Herc, vice president of vehicle control marketing. “These introductions of higher‑technology components demonstrate our capabilities and our commitment to providing our distribution partners with late‑model coverage in the right categories.”
