Ideal Supply has bought fellow NAPA jobber Seaforth Automotive and Industrial Supply.

The deal was made in mid-December but announced just after the new year.

Seaforth is a NAPA Auto Parts Associate and has been owned by the Wilbee family since 1980. Bruce and Sharon Wilbee are retiring after 39 years in the automotive aftermarket and Seaforth business community. James Wilbee is pursuing another career outside of the industry.

Located on Main Street in Seaforth, Ont., about an hour north of London, the store will become part of the Ideal Supply network, which is based about 40 minutes east in Listowel.

Ideal Supply is a subsidiary of Groupe Deschenes Inc., a privately-owned Canadian company headquartered in Montreal.
