Schrader announced that it is the recipient of the Supplier of the Year Award from Prema Canada, one of the largest distributors of tire and wheel services suppliers in Canada. The Supplier of the Year Award, announced during an awards dinner at the annual Prema Canada Institute of Technology (PCIT), honors one outstanding vendor that supports significant efforts to help grow Prema Canada’s business.
“This award is an honor and a valuable recognition of Schrader’s ongoing commitment to provide the best products, technical support, and ongoing education about Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) replacement and safety with our partners,” said Trevor Potter, vice-president, North American-Aftermarket at Schrader. “The award sets us apart from other suppliers and is a glowing testimonial from a very important customer. It also speaks to the focus and dedication of our Schrader Canada team (Susan Hitchon, National Sales Manager and Patrick Hébert, Regional Sales Representative), and we look forward to a continued, successful partnership with Prema Canada.”
The award from Prema Canada comes on the heels of another important industry acknowledgment, Frost & Sullivan’s 2012 North American Product Leadership Award in the Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) Aftermarket. The Frost & Sullivan award highlights Schrader’s patented EZ-sensor technology, specifically its wide vehicle coverage, technical sophistication, functionality and ease of use. These awards recognize Schrader as the market leader in TPMS sensors for Aftermarket service and repair businesses as well as global vehicle OEMs.
The Prema Canada PCIT event is an annual four-day conference for the company’s independent distributors, featuring business building meetings, strategy sessions, vendor presentations, a trade show and an awards dinner. During this year’s event, Prema Canada announced the introduction of the inaugural Supplier of the Year Award. All vendors were eligible for the award, which was voted on by their distributorship
