New Shockwave-equipped Rotary Lift SmartLift inground lifts and two-post surface lifts have been approved by a number of vehicle manufacturers including: Acura, Audi, Chrysler, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar/Land Rover, Lexus, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, VW, and Volvo.
These OEMs have included the Shockwave-equipped lifts in their official equipment programs.
With lift times of just 25 seconds up and 19 seconds down, Shockwave-equipped lifts are billed as the world’s fastest lifts. According to Rotary, technician productivity is further enhanced by the company’s Spotline laser spotting guide and a variety of quick-set superstructure choices.
In fact, Rotary says a recent time and motion study found that Shockwave-equipped lifts can generate at least $3,259 in additional profit per bay annually. Customers can calculate their own Shockwave ROI using an interactive calculator at www.rotarylift.com/shockwave.
New SmartLift inground lifts or SPOA family two-post lifts can be ordered Shockwave-equipped. A Shockwave retrofit performance package is also available to upgrade existing SmartLift inground lifts. The retrofit kit includes new hydraulic cylinders, a battery power unit and controls, and Spotline laser.
Shockwave-equipped lifts are battery-operated, with built-in chargers that run on 110V current. This patent-pending approach eliminates the need for expensive 230V wiring, reducing installation costs by more than 80 percent. Because the lift uses less electricity, daily operating costs are also lower.
Rotary Lift two-post and SmartLift inground lifts accelerated by Shockwave have been third-party tested by ETL and ALI certified to meet ANSI safety and performance standards.
