Registration open For ToolTech 2…

Registration open For ToolTech 2013

Registration is now open for the Equipment and Tool Institute’s ToolTech conference, to be held April 23-25, at the Hyatt Mission Bay in San Diego, Calif.

Organizers say the event will be an “unparalleled opportunity for industry professionals to network and meet with OEMs, tool and equipment companies, national accounts, large suppliers, dealer groups, distributors, manufacturer reps, and many other industry leaders.”

ETI is working to secure industry leaders to speak on subjects and issues that are topical and important to ToolTech attendees. Some of the topics expected to be covered include:

* Service Readiness and Mandates Panel
* R1234yf Panel
* Shop Owner Panel
* Associations and I&M Issues
* Overview of the End Users of Tools and Equipment
* Collision Repair Foundation and Opportunities for ETI Members
* European Association Panel on OBD/PTI/Safety

A series of Roundtable Discussions will be a new feature at the 2013 edition of ToolTech. The Roundtables are an opportunity for ETI Members to engage in productive discussions and exchange useful information on various topics.  Topics up for discussion include:

* Education and Training
* Tek-NET Library
* Getting the Most Out of Your ETI Membership
* Selling to OEM’s/National Accounts/Aftermarket
* Media Opportunities/Advertising/Effective Press Releases/Pitching Stories
* Recognizing Synergies and Opportunities

Organizers of ToolTech 2013 say technicians and shop owners will learn about upcoming technologies, how to overcome barriers in everyday business, and stay informed on issues and news in the automotive aftermarket industry.
