Emerson Fittipaldi, the only driver in history to win two Formula One World Championships, two Indianapolis 500 Championships and an Indy Car World Championship, will help to kick off the 2005 SEMA Show at the New Products Awards Breakfast.
The highly energized and prestigious New Products Awards Breakfast, where SEMA will announce the ten winners of the show’s New Products Awards competition, is set for Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 a.m. in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Eagerly attended by industry VIPs and businesses of all sizes, the breakfast immediately precedes the SEMA Show’s official opening at 9 a.m.
As the consummate automotive enthusiast and guest speaker for the breakfast, Fittipaldi will talk about the specialty equipment industry, celebrating its spirit of innovation and accessorization, and helping to set the tone for the 2005 SEMA Show.
“Emerson Fittipaldi is a great competitor and an exciting speaker,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of marketing and communications. “His name is recognized all over the world, so we’re really pleased that he’s helping us to kick off the SEMA Show, which itself is a business forum for a global industry and a celebration of innovative ideas.”
Later in the day, Fittipaldi will host an exclusive luncheon for industry executives to discuss the strengthening of business ties between the U.S. and Brazil, what Brazil has to offer the auto accessories industry, and Salo do Tuning do Brasil, an aftermarket exhibition held in So Paulo, of which Fittipaldi has a partnership. He will be joined by several manufacturers and industry executives from Brazil.
