Purolator’s current Web site, purolatorautofilters.net, can now be accessed in a variety of languages including Canadian French and Canadian English, Mexican Spanish and Mexican English and American Spanish in addition to its current Web site in English to make the site even more customer-friendly.
“Whether it is a DIY consumer who has decided to change a filter on his vehicle to save some money in these tough economic times or the automotive professional who has a technical question, it’s always easier to understand when the communication is in a language that is familiar to you,” said Ramon Nuñez, director of filtration for Bosch, joint venture owner of Purolator Filters NA LLC.
“Customizing the Web site for users in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico also allows Purolator to provide each market information that is relevant and applicable to that market.”
By making the Web site more attractive to non-native English speakers, Purolator is expanding information about the usefulness of its products to consumers and repair shop personnel in even the more ethnic neighborhoods of Canada, Mexico, as well as in the U.S.
